PauseOnError - London 2011

PauseOnError London was a great success! FileMaker developers, speakers and sponsors flew from all over the world to attend the first Pause on Error event in Europe.

Linear Blue were proud to act as one of the key organisers and speakers and enjoyed the event immensely. Our Development Director - Paul de Halle presented a session on the 'Speed-Up Synchronisation process between FileMaker & SQL.' The session looked at how to dramatically improve the speed of data synchronisation between FileMaker and SQL without the use of plug-ins. This proved a great success for developers who sync data between FileMaker and web based SQL sites.

Ian Jempson, our Development Manager gave an expert talk on 'FileMaker Internal SQL', exploring the different ways to simplify the relationship graph to enable developers more flexibility with reporting. You can watch it here.

Damian Kelly, one of our Senior Developers gave an in-depth talk on 'KISS the relationship graph'. The session covered utilising recent FileMaker features to keep the relationship graph simple, looking at ramifications of a complex, intermediate and simple relationship graph performance.
